#28482, "Ebay header"

Hey guys

I read a thread here that some of you guys got a bosal/brospeed header on your car and you liked the gains. It supposedly gave you more torque.

Well I found this 4-2-1 design on ebay for $150. I was wondering if you guys think this is just as good as the bosal one. Is it better, same, or cheap/bad? I want something that gives the same gains in torque (and I guess HP too) as the Bosal one. Let me know. Thanks.

But the way, I have an auto tranny. I heard the 4-2-1 design is the best for us since the AT need as much torque as we can get and it is better for mid RPM ranges (street use) compared to a 4-1 design (high RPM gains for track).

If you don't have it yet, I'd seriously think about getting an AFX underdrive pulley than a header. It's around 160 bucks at ptuning.com. It's much more proven to give any significant gains. A lot of people would agree with me here. Plus, if you're going turbo, you'll need to get rid of that header anyway. With the AFX, you get to keep it.

That is a 4 into 1 design. Will give you a little more top end but not worth if you don't have cams, cam gears, UDP, higher compresion pistons, or NOS. It will flow a little more than the stock, but if the motor can't suply it you will just lose torque.
