For some reason, my car won't start up again after I turn it off. For example, I park my car in my drive way and I turn it off, then i get something in my house and come back out. When I turn my key it won't start right up. It will turn a couple of times but it won't start. it only starts when its been off for a long time , like during the night and while I work. Can it be the battry? Someone please help me. Thanks in advance!

my car did sort of the same thing before my starter went out.. so ya might wanna try that. hope this helps

our cars do funny things when the battery/starter/alternator is about to go, try the battery first if you havent changed it in a while, mine went totally bad after 2 years

if your car actually cranks over, then its not the battery or starter. Obviously the battery is charged and engaging the perfectly good starter.

If it isnt starting, but still cranking, then your problem is definetly somewhere else.

i bet it's the starter. I had two cars that had the same sypmtoms. Next time it happen try hitting the starter.
