this sucks, my car was running good all weekend (to good) and today every time i slowed down or stopped my cars rpms would go down close to nothing or it would die on me with no CELs. After i changing all the fluids it still did this, then i checked the compression (its good). I pulled the battery out and checked the connections, put it back in and it ran fine. Can anyone tell me whats possibly wrong with my car or is going wrong with my car.

P.S. I just hit 78,000 mi on her

hey you know it could be your idle speed sensor going out on you.. does this happen everytime your car is not idling?? or it could be your t-positioning sensor..doubt it..im most positive on the idle speed sensor..
if u dont know wich one it is ..look at your t-body on the side facing the firewall there are two sensors one that is next to the butterfly from the t-body( this i believe is your t-positioning sensor) and there is one below this one that is your idle speed sensor. on my brothers avenger the same thing was happening the car turned but it would not hold at idle it would run fine and all but it would shut off when in idle , his prob started because some water got in the intake(cai intake no bypass valve) we bought a new sensor(87 at satan) and boalla problem fixed check it out and it may help...hope u fix it soon man it sucks having no car..and i hope i help u out my man..
