i was running down the road last night and all of a sudden the belt snaped and shredded (one on the cam). my q. is how much is the belt and when i goto the parts store what belt do i get? thanks.

Timing belt snapped, you gonna have more problems than just the belt. prolly need a new head(vent valves), head gasket, tensioner.

Most likely will not need a new head, but he will at least need some valves and maybe a guide or two.

i have the same problem with my I4 avenger, only my water pump went too. does anyone know how to check if the valves are bent wihtout takin off the heads.
