I saw this v6 2000 something eclipse with turbo stickers all over it. Is it really possible to put a turbo on it? Well, I'm sure it is possible, anything is possible, but do you think its likely for someone to put a turbo on that car?

I just wanted to know if he really does have a turbo, or he is just trying to pretend that he has one.

dont quote me, but from what i understand, the 4cyl do have a turbo kit out and the v6 do not. Correct me if im wrong.

the guys on here with turbo Avengers are I4 420a Avengers (same as eclipse engine).

but to answer your question.. you can turbo ANYTHING, it's just a matter of money, whether somebody makes a kit or not is irrelavent.

I know that the I4's are the same. But, I thought that there was a 3.0L V6 model that someone had turboed. Oh well, I'll just find the link to his site.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they have once, my brother looked into one, they are like 3500 hundred, ther are on the eclipse 3g site.

Yes they do exist!!! A buddy of mine got one for his 2002 v6 eclipse. He got for somewhere in cali, not sure who or where. Hes had alot of problems with it though, just wanted to spread the word.

I just sat down with some guys today all with 3g's at the Eclipse meet that we had going and they were talking about it. The ones that are out for the V6s are like $4000-$5000. Not worth the money but there is a guy around here who does have one and is putting about 400 hp to the wheels but can only run 14s due to traction problems. HAHA.

Well, the 3G V6 motor is the same one used in the 3000GT minus the DOHC (its a SOHC), what a step further Mitsubishi! -LOL ...
(Cuz, both are 6G72 or 3, but I'm pretty sure 2)

Anyways, I believe the 3000GT kits can get adapted to fit the 3G Eclipse...

Anyways, it could also have a custom turbo...

What motor is used in the I-4? I thought it was something else besides the 4G63....
