Well my car was overheating today. When I would get to a stop light the temp gauge would get about 3/4 of the way up. 100 degree weather didnt help either. So I went and bought a new thermostat at discount auto parts. I planned on installing it after I went out to eat with my sister for her birthday. I got back to my moms where my car was and where I work on it all the time and it was around 9pm. I took the old thermostat out and when I looked at the new one it wasnt the right size!! Those guys at the auto part store are idiots!!! So now I am stuck driving my moms car to work tomorrow and then I am going to finish tomorrow.

be sure to check to make sure both fans in your engine bay were coming on when you had your ac on.. that could be a possible cause of engine overheating..

I dont have AC right now emoji . Ny hose near the down pipe has broke from all the heat from the turbo down pipe and all the stuff leaked out. But the one fan works.

Hey Dave... I think you may be better off going straight to your Dodge Parts Center for this one. There isn't a single autoparts store in all of Middle TN that has the correct themostat & gasket for our cars. Not sure how it is down there... just trying to save you some time.
