I just got my 97 GS back from the shop today. I'm really stoked. I'm gunna go buy some mandrel bends from Tognotti's in Sacramento tomorrow and have them welded together at the muffler shop for a catback. I'll also get a couple additional bends and have them make me a custom cold air intake. My question is what header should I go with? I read something a few minutes ago about someone having fitment problems with their HP racing header. Something about having 4 inches between the header and the cat.

a header isn't gonna give you much of a pwer gain unless your running a built motor. the stock exh mani does everything you'll need. the header will give you no real power gain and add more heat in your engine bay. if your hell bent on it look for pace setter (cheap) or greddy.
