Every time I check my oil it is well below the min. line on the oil stick. What's up with that??? I refill but it goes down again. I checked after every oil change and it was right above the max line. I'm not leaking it and I don't appear to be burning it? Any Ideas?

im not a man of extreme 420a wisdom but i do know that our cars to tend to go through oil just a bit. i mean come on its a sports car ya know, and you probably drive it kinda hard sometimes just like i do. and i also know that whenever i check my oil after i do an oil change, it can be perfect and then i can just drive for a matter of minutes, come back check it and it can be like a half a quart low or so because it gets circulated into the new dry filter and everything else.

We use a 1/2 quart oil filter. The best bet is to fill the filter with oil. Then, you add 4 quarts through the oil fill cap. Should stay about the same level.

well I personally had a shitload of blow-by with my old block. The guy at the dealership said that it was caused by inproper break in and the rings not seating properly. I remember everytime I would clean my K&N it would be oily as shit. when I took off the filter I would have oil dripping from my intake onto the floor (not much but enough). I think that is what caused me to get a spun bearing
