#27218, "headers"

I've been hearing rumors that headers don't make any difference in these engines. I want a greddy header but don't want to spend $500 dollars on a part that only gives 1 horsepower on the dyno (thats what Im hearing anyway? If anyone has a greddy header, please let me know

I have a Greddy header. It gave me a little top end increase 6K-redline...but nothing drastic. It wasn't worth the money I spent on it. I gues since I've driven V8's all my life I expected a little more out of it, but hey every little bit helps.

420a headers are all pretty much gonna give the same performance imo...I would just get a reasonalbly priced one if I were you. You pay for the name when you buy a Greddy header.

You will get better results by just porting out your stock manifold, just do a little work to remove flash, smooth stuff out, etc..

I also have the Greddy... I paid 430 shipped for mine. Not quite worth that much money, but its looks nice. I noticed some gains, more in driveability than power I think.

i got a greddy header and i paid 375 is it worth the money i dont think so but like they say every bit of gain is worth it. from waht i read on import tunner it does not give u much horse power (like .4 hp) but it increases your torque (cant remember it) and i think it u get a 4-2-1 header you get better low end performace( acceleration) than the greddy configuration 4-1 which gives u more top end, but your choice
one more thing stainless steell will last for ever (ihope) and looks pretty damn good as long as u posish it after installing and having ru the car several days.
