My head gasket was leaking so I took the head off and I'm going to take it to a shop to get worked on. What should I have done to it? I have a decent amount of money so I would like to do whatever will help me while I have the head out. Port matched, 3 angle valve job, Port & Polished? I already have new springs, lash adjusters, and cam followers. Let me know what u all think. Thanks.

I wouldn't port the head unless you are stage 8 or so, our head flows beautifully stock. As for a valve grind, I would try to get a radius hone, but only if you really trust your machinist. Other then that, clean up and open up the ports a bit, but if you open them too much, you will lose velocity and the motor won't be terribly streetable. Maybe a set of billet cams? #14 off of Howell's site is best for most everybody who wants a daily driver. Cam gears, while the head is off, are easy to install. Other then that, since you upgraded the valvetrain (you did get PT Cruiser stuff, didn't you), there isn't a whole lot left to do, except maybe some stainless steel valves. Hope I was of help... -=B-=
