i keep on getting a P1390 code on my 96 Eagle Talon NT,i changed timing belt and water pump.It only happens in prolonged driving.I know its not the Tbelt.I think it is the camshaft sensor ,or crankshaft sensor but not sure which one.Please help me because my mechanic is clueless,and charges me for fixing everything but the problem.

yes, P1390 is "timing belt skipped 1 tooth or more" since you have a 96 do the keydance and see if it comes up with the same code. You may want to have your timing belt changed again. if you only changed your timing belt and not the other stuff like your waterpump then those other things might have messed up your timing belt. Try changing it again or checking the camshaft/crankshaft position sensor. the crankshaft position sensor is near the lowest pulley on ur engine and it should have a wiring harness running to it. I think the camshaft position sensor should be at the opposite ends of your cam gears. That is the best description i can give. Tell your mechanic to check them. please rate me a 4 (i have to beg):'(
