How much power do you want to make?

Turbo that biatch and if not all for performance get some rims and lower it.

I want to have about 400 HP

400 hp? Are you going into drag racing? I don't think you can get close to 400 hp with only $4000. If you want something in addition to turbo, get a good NOS kit. But you'll probably want to upgrade your engine, etc. if you are going to put that much HP in your ride.

RS is lighter than the GS. Borla is an excellent brand. Pocket that cash for a while and do some reading on this board then decide what you want to do. Welcome aboard.

Ok , I have a 96 Eclipse RS automatic and im gonna race two of my friends for money . One of my friends has a 99 Lariot V-8 f-150 (stock). And My other friend has a 95 Buick Le saber . We are gonna race up to 85 Mph and can any one just tell me if I can take them in a street race??

You may want to get some mods before you start racing for money. I don't think you could be any of those cars in stock form.

Of course depending on the amount of money the race is for, it may be benifical to race those cars and see how you stack up. Then you may have an idea of what areas of the power band you want to work on. Good luck.
