Damn, I didn't know obx made a UDP. Not sure if it is as good as AFX but for that price I don't see how you could go wrong. Correct me guys?

That one is a 15% UDP where the AFX is 30%, therefore the AFX would provide you with more HP. At least that is my understanding.

plus the inside of the OBX pulley is made of a different material than the AFX which causes a nasty chemical reaction between the crank and pulley namely corrosion (well thats what the guys at Howell said a few months ago) Do a search.

How do you see it is a 15 percent UDP? It says the underdrive provides 15 percent of the total gains. Which means most 85 percent of the gains you will see from this pulley are because it is lighter. I am not a big fan of OBX. IMO their products are cheaply made and do not last as long. If it were me, I would just go with the af/x because there are dozens already running on cars, and we know the results. Its not that much more expensive either.

well if this udp is similar to the unorthodox udp for our cars.. then the pulley is a 20% underdrive, whereas the afx is 30%. i think those numbers are correct. i too would rather spend the little extra money and get the afx. and just remember the obx on ebay do not include the beltss... the afxs do, people dont like the bandos that come with, but they will work fine.

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^

I remember seeing a post a while ago with some guy trying to start a group buy on OBX UDP. And I was pretty sure he said it had a 15-20% underdrive(i took his word on it). I just used the lower end of that band and said 15%.
