Whats the difference between buying an engine with the core and buying one without the core. Im looking at Howell Automotive's new site and they sell engine's now but the one with the core is cheaper than the one without. Why is that? What is the actually difference? I've done a couple searches on the internet but have found nothing, someone help me out please. I'm about to order the 2.2 stroker engine but don't know if the extra money for the block without the core is actually worth it. Thanks guys.

Dude..

a CORE is a return part. You buy a stroker with a CORE, you send them your motor back.

You buy with no CORE, they charge you the whole deal and you keep your stock shortblock.

Get it? it's like when you buy a new rack or something.. they give you money back when you give them the dead part. get it?

Hehehe he said "rack". It's cheaper b/c they don't have to spend money buying a new cast to build, they can just use your old block.

Shit is all apart. Typical...
