#26461, "Weird idle problem with A/C turned on and off....."

When my car is warmed up has no A/C turned on it idles fine (750 to 800 rpm). As soon as I turn on my A/C the idle jumps to 1100 rpm's and stays there. Turn the A/C off and the idle goes back to normal. The fan speed can be set to anything with the A/C on or off. I have checked for the usual vacuum leaks but I cannot find any and my vacuum at idle is 17 hg/in. I have yet to check my vacuum with the A/C on.

The car drives ok except for an occasional rpm jump to 2000 rpms. But it always settles to normal idle for A/C off and 1100 with A/C on. I was thinking about cleaning my throttle body and would like to know what is the best way to do so. I plan to take it off the car. What do I use to clean it so I dont break any expensive sensors and is there a gasket to replace once I put it back on?
