#26374, "Installation question"

I have an Autometer elec. oil pressure gauge, and I was trying to hook up the sender yesterday, but I can't get the OE sender out of the block. It looks like someone had tried this before and rounded off the OE sender. I can barely fit one hand in there and I can't think of any way to get that damn thing out.
Does anyone know of a different place that I can hook up the new sender since I can't remove the OE? Thanx for any help on this.

There is a special tool to remove the stock sender unit I beleive. And I think that is the only place you can install it.

1999 Eclipse RS (all show)
1990 Turbo Eclipse (race)

1 & 1/16" Oil "sensor socket". It's deeper than a standard 1 1/16" socket, and usually black. Kragen, Autozone, and Pepboys carry them. Usually about $8.

I have a 1 1/16 deep socket. It wont turn it because the sender os rounded off. This really sucks! I just have a useless gauge if I can't figure this shit out. Thanx for all your help though.
