I have brospeed headers and Greedy Cat back. It sounds Great. Mine had a smog pipe that we cut off and welded the hole closed do to a funny sound because their bracket broke, but people really like it. After I bored the throttle body and did a few others it droped in tone and has a nice deep sound, no bees here. And piss on the high flow cat, most I talk to say it's a waste the stock is fine.

My thermal rumbles like no other! Even my mustang buddies turn green with envy with her sound. I get complimented all the time on the tone. A friend has a greddy on an RS. Sounds good, but he loves my thunder! Its expensive, BUT kicks ass! The twin 3 inch outlets keep the rice to an EXTREME minimum and have beautiful "THERMAL" insignia laser etched on each. All stainless and direct bolt up. I read somewhere this cheesy line "if a V8 and a V6 had an offspring, it would sound like a thermal." I gotta admit, thats a prime way to explain her tone...

Of those three items (header, high flow cat, muffler) the muffler will make the biggest difference in sound. The other two will have little effect. A gutted cat or test pipe will be a little more noticeable, but not enough to make the car sound too annoying. (I've heard lots of cars with test pipes, but they are all turbos and the turbo really helps muffle the exhaust sound, so I can't be 100% sure there.)

A GS-T muffler, or a less agressive aftermarket one will still give you the flow you need while not being so "honda-like"

My friends civic jus sounds plain nasty. Almost like one of those long mid pitched farts done into a big tin can. I was just hoping for better emoji I don't mind the cha chi sound, so long as it sounds nice n bassy. I am hoping to eventually win shows in my area so cha chi rice tips are for me as i believe they look better.

Just make sure you get that flange welded on the header before you put it on emoji
