I tried for bout 2 hours to get 1 bolt off yesterday and never got it. My bolt through the front mount was on there tight as shit. Now I about stripped the head on the bolt. *sigh But most people do it in a few hrs.

yeah i need to throw one of those on my ride soon too, it shold get rid of that horrid wheel hop right? at first my wheel hop was only half the time when id spin em' in first, but now it happens pretty bad on the 1st to second shift, because now i have a little more power to push those wheels i guess. how much do those motor mounts cost? isnt there a thing for them for like 40 bucks on group buy or somethin like that. as far as the installation goes, thats why we should probably all get air compressors. you can get em' cheap at kragen and crap like that sometimes. just get a cheap 100 dollar one, and then buy all the nice air tools from sears, piece by piece as you need them. just a thought.

front mount should take about 15 minutes... hit up my site http://seangordon1.tripod.com (mods---> mminstall) for install how-to/pics

the rear is another story, probably 1-2 hours dependin on u..

the bolt on the front mount goes thru it, so u have to use two wrenches, and i have heard that the bolt is a standard bolt, not a metric bolt.... i was able to use i think 13 or 14 mm wrenches to get her off... and a beaker bar worx wonders...

the inserts are like 30 bux shippd from summit, search for motor mounts, and its under eagle talon i think....

they will definately decrease wheelhop and help get power to the ground...

good luck

I got mine through Jegs for $19.95 Summit was B/O'ed. Damn shipping was quick as hell to. The front one took all of 5 minutes. I just dropped the front cross member plus a air wrench helps. I started to do the back but I didn't have that much time. That will be a rainy day project.

yeah 1-2 hours sounds about right for the rear mount. It's buried way back in there so you'll have to take a lot of stuff off and use like really long extension and stuff to get to the bolts. But it's all worth it when your done. emoji

this should help you out a bit:
