well i've aboout had it with forced induction. my car is trying to tell me something and i dont have the money right now to keep rebuilding. well about 3 months ago i blew the stock motor and built up with wiseco pistons and eagle rods and a bunch more shit tha i dont feel like listing. anyway last week it happened again. i melted holes through my pistons. fuckin bullshit. so now im deciding to go the cheaper way for the time being. all motor. now what im wondering is if i raise my cmpression what else has to be changed. i think im gonan go with je's this time. no luck with the wiseco.i've been tryin to find info on that guy with the fastest all motor neon hittin 11 flat. now i have for the most part the money to build back up and start with the all motor so im hopin to be one of the few first people around to be runnin at least 12-13's all motor. so if anybody has any info and could help me out a little i would appreciate it. and if anybody wants to buy a star stage 2 turbo system hit me up.haha

If you melted holes in forged pistons, it's because you have something very, very wrong.

I think that you have a fuel system problem. I'd go fix that first, or else you're just going to break shit all motor, too.

Melted Wiseco pistons? What compression were you running and how much boost were you trying to push?

That 11 second all motor Neon has a bunch of "secret" stuff that you probably will never find out about. I know I've been looking for about the past year and haven't found much. If I get my car deep into the 14s all motor without stripping the car down, I think I've done a hell of a job. We'll find out soon enough. The worked over cylinder head is going on the car in two weeks.

melting holes in wiseco pistons?? wow! that is probably a first! Have you been keeping an eye on your egt? how was your A/F, fuel press??
IMO you would have to try very hard to do what you just accomplished.

Going all motor will not prevent you from melting another motor.

You have to keep an eye on you EGT's and your A/F ratio's. This is key to any motor with or without turbo.

A motor is just a "Pump"...You are just trying to make it pump harder and more efficiently.

To keep this "Pump" from distroying itself you need to make sure you have the right amount of fuel for the air you are forcing/pulling into the pump (motor).

It's your choice on which route you take. (turbo or NA)

Try to start this time by buying some guages and tuning equipment.
