I'm thinking of getting a full gst exhaust including the cat, downpipe and muffler.
Is it any different from the stock GS exhaust?
I know the muffler is different, but is the DP the same size?
Will i gain any performance from this?

Just go with the muffler, there is no advantage to the full cat-back.

a full cat back exhaust doesnt benefit a gs? can you please explain i am still in the learning process.

we are talking about a stock cat back from a GST or GSX, it is the same as from a GS except the muffler.
An after-market cat back will benefit a GS in most cases.

Well, as Breezio pointed out - it's not completely the same. The downpipe from a GST/GSX will not fit a GS.

Ahhhh. This type of question again. Get the Pacesetter catback and a aftermarket muffler. Or in your case if you prefer a GST or GSX muffler. I have the pacesetter with " MY " brand tanabe muffler. Flows great and sounds good. ....I have no cat either...whatever you guys like just dont buy greddy :X

it shud be mentioned that the gsx catback will not werk w/our 2gnts because it is routed differently over the rear suspension...

the downpipe wont fit because the exhaust manifolds are different...

Vegas DSMer is right, the GS-X cat-back won't bolt up to an RS/GS Eclipse. You could use the cat-back from a FWD GS-T, which will bolt-on.

The gs-t has the same piping from the cat-back as the gs/rs, themuffler is the only difference. Therefore, the muffler will produce a little bit more power and it's REALLY inexpensive compared to full aftermarket catbacks such as Apex'i, greddy, etc.
