Alright guys, I have a pretty good leak coming from the oil pan where the engine and tranny bolt together. It's getting all over my exhaust pipe, and I need to find where it's coming from and how big of a repair it will be. I was saving for a paint job, but I guess this will be next. Don't want the car to go up in flames!! The car has 90K, and I'm running Mobil 1. Any ideas, or is it possible this is a common problem?? Thanks!

I drove around with an oil leak for 20,000 miles, and when i went to put on my GReddy exhaust, i was heating the bolts up with a torch and my catalytic converter caught fire!

Well, if it is definately the oil pan, it is a couple of hours of work at most, and the oil pan gasket costs 35 bux or so from the stealership. If it is the rear main seal, then the tranny must be dropped, the clutch removed, abd the flexplate removed. The part itself is cheap though... -=B-=
