Unless you have a turbo or nitrous on the car, stay with the stock modular clutch. Just order it from a dealer that gives a 25% discount.

My stock clutch has more than 60K miles total and 6K of it having run 10psi on my star kit. It still holds fairly well, but slips just a bit when she starts getting hot from numerous launches. I have not smelled any burning smell yet and it still grabs fine for a 2nd gear stop-n-go. I also have nearly 2 seasons of autocross on the car with slipping the clutch numerous times for quicker acceleration.

If you have power adders, consider the centerforce dual friction modular only(chatters a bit, but holds good power). The price is more friendly than clutchmasters.

If you can afford a clutchmasters, buy a stage 3 or stage 4 depending on your hp/torque demands. When you reach the level of a stage 4 you better be thinking about your axles/transmission needs next.

Is it modular and do you have the weights that sling out with high rpm to get more clamping force?

I thought numerous people reported chatter at idle. Small price to pay. I do know that the nonmodular do not have weights and the clamping force is less. This does not hold power very well in the 250 whp range.

I thought there is only one dual friction modular clutch made by centerforce. I know the 1 and 2 are not made for our cars. Is this what you mean by stage 3?

thanks bud
