Ive noticed that when i turn my steering wheel you can hear a squeaking noise. What could it be? any help would be appreciated

mines been doing this off and on also, mine went away for awhile, then came back, and now its gone again. Check your power steering fluid. If its not that it could be ball joints or maybe a wheel bearing possibly. But check your ps fluid and you should be aight.

there is a recall out now for lower lateral ball joints, if you haven't done it go right now

on mine I have a squeak now when turning and its a plastic bushing in the steering column, no biggie i can live with it, but the ball joints are a must to fix

was there a recall for the 96 talons??? i didnt think there was. i didnt get my car from satan either, i bought it off one of my friends.

it could also be something as easy as tightening your p/s belt... mine was screaming like hell, but i tightened it up and its all good now

werd, its your accesory belt.... check the deflection of the belt

Its the ball joints, even if it isn't you MUST go get the recall done, wtf is wrong with you people, I wouldn't be driving my car around knowing that at anytime the front wheels could just fall off. You might laugh but it has already happened to prob. 15 people that visit this board and asog.net alone.

yes the recal was on 1996 talons because i just got mine fixed for free at the chrysler place go get those fixed cuz i don't know about you but i dont want to be doin 80 down the free way and my front end fall to the ground cuz my ball joints broke

1996 Eagle Talon NA Stock except for ghetto wheels that came on it

call, have your VIN handy, and set up an appointment.. they will ask for your VIN, check it in their comp database, and if it isnt in there that ithas been done, they will replace em for free....
