#25355, "2.4L...... here I come!!!!"

I can get a complete 95 2.4L minivan engine for a good price. Would this be a good engine to use in this swap? I hear that the 95 blocks have problems. What are these problems?

Also, would the TTI Racing motor mount work in an eclipse?

Does anyone know anyone that has done this swap in an eclipse? Any websites you know about that deal with the swap in a eclipse?

I really think I going to do this if it is feasible.
Thanks in advance

He also swapped from the 2.5L V6, and both are Mitsubishi motors. I have found that it is easiest to swap within the same marque, like a Mitsubishi motor swapping with a Mitsubishi motor, and a Chrysler motor swapping with a Chrysler motor. If you have the 2.0 420a, then I think that the 420a is a good swap, as long as it is a 2.4... emoji

cool, thank for the info. The hardest part of this swap, i think, is making all of the brackets fit correctly. What do you guy think about that? Should i just try and modified the eclipse's brackets?

Try it and let us know what happens. If it doesn't work you can always put your motor back in.

Thanks for the info.
I went to see the minivan engine today. It was junk. SO, i didn't buy it. Im going to check a couple more places. Hopefully, I can find a complete engine. But, if I can't, Im going to just buy a block and rebuild it. Oh well..... emoji

its not just the deepness... it sounds like a beast... it has a little choppyness to it, like it needs more air.. ive heard the 2.4 on other cars.. but with our engines, it sounds different. and this was just from when skrilla was idle!! emoji
