Well frig, I've got 2 replace some synchronizers in my tranny (MT) so I was wondering how much of a difference a lighter flywheel would make... will it make a similar difference as the AFX/UDP? Is it worth the $$$?

It will cause a loss at low rpms because the heavier flywheel keeps inertia between the power strokes of the cyl. At a higher rpm it will be a decent gain but, it is a sacrifice of one. I guess it depends on how you want to go fast, drag type or autocross type.
