well how do ya know?? My car only has 56,000 miles on it, but I keep smelling this rotten smell every now and I thought that it may be the exhaust was melting something, but I checked that and that wasnt it. So Im guessing its the cat

yeah I would say your cat is dying... time for a new one. or better yet! a test pipe!! hehe

I hope that it isnt the O2 sensor, it would be much easier to put a test pipe in
