So my compression numbers were quite low as you all now, about 100psi per cylinder. The car runs perfect, no leaks/oil burning. Obviously I will be adding no NOS anytime soon. Heres my question since she still runs strong. Should I stop modding and worry about a rebuild now, or should I continue with minor mods until she dies. (minor I mean header, high flow cat, MSD DIS-2. Cam gears and UDP would wait for the impending rebuild.) I will be staying all motor. You know, the whole road less traveled thing, yada, yada. I will use the howell kit when it is time. I honestly think I can milk a lot more miles outaa her, especially since she will be back in the garage come thanksgiving, wintered for 5 months again) Let me know what you feel is worthwile. The winter would be the perfect rebuild time. Finally, full rebuild or 2.4l conversion??? Thanks..jd

Rebuild, man! Gotta do it sometime...

Header, cat, and ign isn't going to give you any lower numbers really.

Get the howell kit w/ high compression if you're staying NA.

It'd be nice to wait until winter, but why chance it? Just my .02
