#24318, "Throttle Stick problems"

Ok so the last couple days my gas pedal sticks the FIRST time i press it everytiem i start my car. Only the first time though, whether warmed up or not...

It doesn't do it if the car is not running, only while running and only the first time. I think once it happened the second time. Any ideas guys? I'm goign to try to make sure that the cable doesn't have any slack but other ideas?

My clutch pedal sometimes feels like it sticks because the floor mat moves up and holds the pedal down a bit. This is probably not the cause of your problem.. but I'd have it checked out. My friend races Speed Trucks here in Vegas and at tonights race one of the guys "#91" had his gas pedal stick going into the first corner sending him right into the wall breaking off the wheel & bending up the whole front right side. I'd definately have it looked at.
