I had an oil problem for a few months that I recently had fixed, so I thought it was a good idea to clean off my oil soaked motor.
So, I covered up all electronics including my dist cap, ecu, all electrical plugs; however, I did not cover my spark plug wires connecting to the valve cover because I have spilled oil there before, trying to pour into the valve cover.
Anyway, after covering everything else I sprayed on the degreaser, let it sit, and then sprayed the sucker down, not spraying the spark plugs completely, but the valve cover was soaked.
Anyway, now my car wont turn over and Its been 24 hours now. It was running yesterday after the wash, but really shitty and wouldnt stay above 2k without me pressing the gas. It would just stall out. Now it wont even turn over it just keeps tryin and sputtering, but wont.

well, first off, I'd bet that you could spray under your hood all day, and still never get your distributor cap wet, because you don't have one . However, yeah, you got your plug wires wet... take them off and blow in the ends of them really well... put them back on and your car will start. That used to happen to me in my old 924 all the time.
