#23746, "how much power from hotter plugs?"

Honestly folks, how much power do I get out of having the BKR5E-11 plugs... the one heat range hotter ones? I have no other mods, just needed plugs today, so I bought those.

I didn't really notice any gain to be honest.

At most 1-2 hp. This is not to be considered a power mod. It basically helps your engine run better.

That's mostly what I noticed with my Bosch plugs. I was having some engine vibration in the 6000-7000 rpm range, but the plugs smoothed that out all the way to 7300. With that and a K&N filter it boosted my gas mileage from 30 to 36 though.

Mods:

System:
Alpine CD Deck w/ 6d Changer
2 10" C2 Precision Power Subs
Fosgate 360a2 Amp

Engine:
Bosch Platinum +4 Plugs
K&N Drop-in Air Cleaner
