ok guy's i've gone through a couple belts now so i need some help. i put on some goodyear gatorback belts on my car with the udp and it stopped the squeel. when doing the turbo install we spilled a little power s. fluid on the ps belt and i didn't think we got any on the alt belt. well my ps belt shreded the other day and i checked the alt belt and it has slipped groovs and the edge is fraying. so should i look for pulley wabble or what should i look for.

look to see if the udp is on all the way... u can do this by lookin at the alignment of all the pullies... u want them to be on the same plane, or parallel... if it is off by the smallest amount, u will shred your belts... have a buddy sit inside the car, and hold the brake down, and retorque the udp bolt...
u can also see if the alt pulley and p/s a/c pullies are warped by spinnin em w/out belts on.. make sure they dont wabble and spin freely..
good luck...
