Ok guys as you all know i have a 95 GS 5spd that had a No Spark problem. After changing the coil, computer,cam and crank sensor, TPS, and air idle controller we decided to trace the wiring harness. after searching forever we found a broken green with red stripe wire. Repaird it and buttond teh car back up to take it to a shop. Went to give it one last shot and teh car cranked up. But one problem it wouldnt rev over 4,000 RPMS without hitting its rev limiter. Now heres where it gets good. People on here told me about the MAP sensor being bad (its the only sensor other than the Knock sensor that hasnt been changed) So We decided to take the car to a shop and have them fix it since i just took on a new job and didnt have time to work on it. Well the shop had teh car for 2 weeks and never touched it. So i went down there and actually worked on it myself and showed the so called tech teh first problem. Turned out that the Junction boxes which are underneath the battery box encase in white plastic, werent getting good connections at all. with the key on you wiggled teh junction boxes an dteh asd + fuel relay would kick on and off. SO that was teh no spark problem. Repaird that myself at their shop.
The car still had the rev limit problem so I decided to let them have a shot at that. Well today I get a call saying that they can find a MAP sensor. So tomorrow im going to pick the car up and take it back to my house and fix it my damn self. So here is a question. How much for a MAP sensor, would regular autopart stores carry it? If not im heading to a salvage yard and also. What tests can be run on the MAP. Where can i get info on it such as voltage, its actual role and all of that. And finally Can you Bipass teh MAP or modify it in any way?

MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure

It sends a voltage signal to the PCM and the PCM uses it to determine A/F ratio and ignition. I'd say that's definitely your problem. It seem that a lot of folks are having problems with the MAP sensor.

You can get one at your local Dodge parts center for $50-$75.

Oh yeah... if you go to Dodge, which I recommended instead of Mitsu because the MAP sensor is a Chrysler part, tell the you need a MAP sensor for an Eagle Talon ESi. A lot of those guys don't know it's the same as Mitsu RS/GS.
