#23650, "What months have a non-modular clutch?"

Just wondering what months of 95 2GNTs have non-modular clutches, I heard only certain months 95 2GNTs have the nonmod clutch. I just wanna make sure, I think I have a non-modular.

No one knows, its the great mystery. My theory is they ran out of modular stock sometime in 95' and used neon nonmodular units during the shortage. It sure as hell has nothing to do with early 95's cause my car was built deep into 94' and I still had a modular.

My local Mitsu dealer can tell by the VIN number which it has.

Non-modular is the kind that you can unbolt from the fly wheel so you can reuse the fly wheel. Can you do me a favor and check what month yours is eclipticrider? The sticker is on the bottom of the door sill in teh rear of the driverside. Mine is a May 1994... Haha so what should I do crack that sucka open and check then order the clutch, or should I do what Stan said and take my car to the dealer and ask. Haha I can probably just call them and give em a VIN number.

I havent met anyone yet with a 95 who's had a non-modular (but I do now. only did it to save on cost when replacing the clutch).
