I know I read it somewhere on here but I can't find it. Does anyone have or know of the link to the 420A race engine that produces over 500+ horses?!?!? I wanted to read the article.

500 horses? Hmm. . .well with a Stage 5 turbo system you could get close to 500 hp. The only 420A race engine I know of was the one used in the Stratus Touring car like 5 years ago. It was all motor and made close to 300 HP with a 12.2:1 compression ratio.
This is the only pic I was able to find of it on the net.

Thats not a 420A though, thats half of one of their V8 race engines.
"The cost for the block (semi machined) is about $1000 and the Hemi head (my personal favorite) is about $800 bare and semi-machined also. These pieces were released in the 2002 Mopar Performance catalog (see page 176 for the blocks and pg 112 for the HEMI (P5) heads). The cool looking valve covers are on page 116 and are magnesium. Absolutely beautiful!
As far a this engine ever being a "production car piece"... it was intended strictly for racing (and does not meet EPA standards for street engines)."
