#23405, "Costum Intake? With exhaust piping???"

Hi, can i go to the closest muffler shop and ask for a costum 3" pipe, that "simulates" a CAI and stick a filter on the end?

Why do people instead opt for PVC piping? is there something diferente on the piping it self?

Thx

Do you think is something worth "Selling" i live in mexico so is actually like 10x cheaper here then in the states...

people don't use exhaust style piping cause it weighs more and they beleive that it heats up more and will cause a hotter intake charge.. well it does weigh more.. but won't make more heat.. infact I read that someone used steel piping (much like exhaust piping) for an intake and painted it with ceramic based paint and it stayed much cooler then any brand name aftermarket intake. I'm going to make a custom intake on my zx2 using some exhaust piping and ceramic paint. and it'll be pretty cheap too emoji
