#23255, "Car Smells"

My friends keep telling me that if their behind me and I got go full throttle my car smells really bad. I can smell it inside the car too sometimes. All I got is a muffler so I doubt its that. Any chance that it would be my cat thats shot or something? Hopefully nothing to serious.

You probably have an exhaust leak before the cat, or the cat-converter itself is bad.

Bad exhaust odor is usually due to a bad catalitic converter, or bad O2 sensors. Use to happen a lot in my old Cavalier, and it ended up being a bad Catalitic Converter.
