#23023, "lean fuel mixture code......"

for about a year now i have had a annoying check engine light on..i have upgraded to a 2.5 cat back... and a cold air intake to see if it would help.. i had my injectors go out a year ago and since i have replaced them i have had a really bad hesitation at wot.. depending on the temp of day it runs good and runs bad.. i have replaced injectors, pump, filter, throttle position switch, all intake/exhaust gaskets, air cleaner switch, coolant temp switch, map, coil, wires, plugs(several times) and it goes on and on.. i know when i do a key dance to check my codes it keeps coming up with a lean fuel mixture and i was reading in another post that others had a fuel smell in there car... i also have that... im pushin 109,000 miles with mine.. possible cat clogged??? please post your ideas here or email me at phatridedoin140@aol.com with the subject 420a...... appreciate any help available...

I checked the service manual and it says that a "fuel system lean" can be caused from: engine coolant temperature failed, intake air temp failed, head gasket failed, exhaust manifold cracked, MAP sensor failed, or the heated oxygen sensor failed.
