Can you guys tell me what a GST muffler sounds like? Like F&F Eclipse maybe? what can it be compared too?

Green 95 GS 5-speed
Engine--PCP cold air intake,Greddy header,Accel 8mm wires,OBX custom exhuast.

Suspension/Brakes--Sprint 2' springs, KYB Gr2's, EBC Red Stuff pads,17" Konig Traffiks (silver), 215/45/17 Yokohama AVS ES100's, 15 dollar camber kit.

well.. if you want to sound like the f&f eclipse.. get one of those fake electronic bov things that they sell... hook it up to your amp and turn up the volume! haha.. jp.. it sounds pretty good.. it has a lower/deeper tone.. although, i have greddy piping so its a bit wider... damn cops!

yeah i was wondering how they sound too. at high rpm are they as loud like an aftermarket muffler would be? or is it just a little deeper than the stock muffler for the 2gnt? sometime the loud deep tone from my muffler, especially at highway speeds start to get on my nerves so i was either wanting to change to the gst muffler or get a muffler with a silencer.

at idle (seriously) if you listen to a stock turbo at idle, that's what a GS-T muffler-equipped NT will sound like

when crusing it will be a bit louder, but not enough to make a difference, you would notice it but you'd get used to it very quickly

if you take your foot off the gas and coast at about 3000 rpms you'll get a nice resonance; sort of a buzz, but I don't want to really SAY "buzz" because when you say "buzz" you immediately think 1.6L honda with a 3 inch exhaust that sounds like ass, but it's nothing liek that it sounds good

at WOT the car will no longer sound like a vacuum cleaner. The car will have a nice growl to it. It will be louder than stock, but not loud enough to attract too much attention (the cold air intake will be louder at WOT and high rpms than the exhaust). You'll sound like you have a performance car without being obnoxious.

Yeha Todd pretty much covered it, it's just a little deeper and slightly louder tone than stock. With my Cold Air Intake, I probably hear more intake resonance than exhaust most of the time.

If you ar elooking for a loud aftermarket sound, you will not get it out of the GS-T muffler, but it will give your exhaust a more aggressive edge.

I just got my gst muffler installed and so far I love the thing. Theres a cool growling sound that comes at around 3-4k rpms, I can also hear my intake (shoope shoope) Although I was still able to set off car alarms when punched on the gas 4-5k but in terms of interior noise this muffler is much more quiet than the ol'Trust Sp
