hey.. this is like the other post, but does anyone know how much it would cost to swap an m/t from one car to my car and put my a/t to the other car.. like the other post.. i got a good working car with pretty low mileage and dont' want to risk getting other problems by buying a whole new car..

It'd cost nothing if you do it yourself. Not sure about shop labor costs, as it would be labor x 2.

i had a similiar question as well, i have an auto trans and it works fine. isn't the auto tranny more expensive than the manual. seems to me that i should be able to turn around and get a manual then sell my auto tranny and only have to worry about labor cost. has anyone done this and how hard was it for you to sell the auto tranny?

its been done by people on this board, forget who all has done it, i remember it being done, try the search feature and it might bring something up, i'd advise you do it yourself unless you wanna pay big $$$
