I know this may sound ricey, or this may sound dumb, or gay, whatever you say, it doesn't matter... But how'd people get sparks of fire out of their exhaust?... Is it actually a wastegate from a turbo? I have a picture of it here, as you could tell, its from the Fast and the Furious video...

It can be from either running the wastegate straight out (and not through the normal exhaust system) running too rich (fast420a will tell you about that) or some other less common things will cause it.. generally you don't want to do it on purpose (cause it's illegal and can cause damage).

Hell, I do it on purpose after about every race. My general race lets the opponent take the lead, while I stay close till 3rd and get a good view ahead to make sure i have a clean go, no cops, etc... then I smoke the silly goon that wanted to race, after I am satisfied with the distance apart, I put the clutch in, hold the staging revlimiter, and bounce it off it a coule times blowing flames... it usually stops ricer flyby.

To Super20G... Could you do that in an automatic? You just put it in neutral, and you just rev it all the way up? Could you still do it without a turbo? And by the way, what is that body kit that you have on your car Super20G?

bounce off the limiter eh, hehe don't do that too much if you got stock engine parts. I'm assumin why SUper20G does it is cuz the engine can take it. haha sounds badass though
Have you ever heard of the misfiring system or bang bang system? It's a kind of ignition system for a rally car. If it senses the tires slippin too much or something it starts to make the engine misfire so it can can get enough traction then hella bakfires happen. Pretty cool stuff but I heard your can destroy the exhuast manifold if you use it too much.

Here we go again Well after doing A lot of research Ive come to the conclusion that its just too risky. Heres how the old hot -rods do it. They put in a spark plug in the muff, Run a sepreate ignition system to send spark. The thing is they kill the engine letting teh left over gas go out the exhaust. Thing is with the cat, we dont get that much left over, Also Our ignition is different. That and us automatics cant kill the engine as easy as a manual can. Be carefull though, these are (obviously) the real instructions, and the flame could , theoretically climb up your pipe and KABOOM !!
