Yeah I did it when I installed my bored TB.
I do have an easier way to do it. Takes less than 2 minutes once the pipe is off. Have a friend step on the gas pedal, loosen the two 10mm bolts on the throttle cable bracket, and pull the bracket back as far as it will go. tighten down and make sure the plate closes all the way. Put your intake back on. This is much quicker than making the little adjustments. I didn't have a friend around when I did my TB, so I used a piece of wood to depress the gas pedal.
But yes it's a free mod, take advantage of those any time they present themselves.
