I agree man. I run mobil 1 in my eclipse just liek i do in my latemodel stockcar engine. The latemodel is a complete steel tube chassis built by Karhouse. 2001 Montecarlo carbon fiber body with a chevy SB 350 pumping 515 horses from a holly 4412. Runs at 8,800 RPMS for hours on regular synthetic mobil-1.
You can pay the crazy prices for royal purple, VP racing fuels "racing Oil", Redline, or any of those other "racing oils" but they are no better than Mobil one.

unless you witness the dyno run in person your not getting 100% correct info. the temp of the test can play a huge factor in the horse power.

Yeah they said they gained 2 hp from it, but here is the question... 2 hp over what? Over the stock oil..?

I bet if they ran that same test w/Mobil 1.. they would gain every bit as much hp.. if not more.

You should forget about the oil and get rid of some of that fender well gap-you could probably get a few extra horses just from the aerodynamics-looks likes you have a lift kit on it

>Protects better than conventional oils with Synerlec
I think you should take a closer look at this statment. Than convenstional oils with synerlc, they don't claim to be better than
any sythetic motor oils.

Royal Purple makes Mobil 1 look like shit what are you talking about.. they have ran tests on ths oil over at dsmtalk.com and and ran over 7,000 miles on it then sent a sample of the oil to get tested and it came back clean. Royal Purple owns you as far as oils go.

But why pay all that money for just oil? Valvoline or Castrol work just fine as does Mobil 1, as long as its not quaker state your fine.

to my knowledge, if you have been putting regular oil in your car and move to a synthetic, you can cause your seals to bust and vice versa. it may not happen in most cases but it can happen. the best thing to do is that if you have 30k or less once you start putting synthetic in, you have to keep putting it in the rest of the time. if you have always put regular oil in your car, your stuck with regular oil.

I use royal purple 10w30 in my 96 talon that has 99,000, and I have no leeks and it runs great, anyway I beleive on the back of the bottle it says it is a coventional oil with synerlec added, so its not a full synthetic but a blend of some sorts.

I have to have a mechanic do it for me, my mother won't let me do things to the car myself because I'm 16 and she thinks I'll mess it up emoji. It sucks cause she doesn't trust me working on my own car cause my age. I would get it lowered but I'm kind of scared that it will be too low with the 14's. I'm saving up for rims though so when I do have them I'll lower the car }>.
