where does the hose that goes over the end of the valve cover close to the timing belt cover...this is a metal hose that looks like it bends down towards the firewall and on my car it looks like it should have a rubber hose connecting it to something else, but it dosen't. can anybody tell me if it does hook up to something? and if it does where and the location on the car....the other end comes up from below the passenger headlight....BUT IT DOESN'T GO UNDER THE OVERFLOW RESIVIOR FOR ANTIFREEZE..... it goes to the front of the ca more before it goes into the little compartment under the resivior...


any help with this would be helpful cause i have had a code 31(evap solenoid circuit) for a while and bill hahn and all the people i have spoken too have been a great help, but i still haven't figured this out....

You have an EVAP code because that metal line comes off the EVAP canister. there shoul dbe a vacuum hose coming off it and going to a connector on the passenger side right behind the intake manifold. Hope this helps.

THERE IS A THREE HOSE CONNECTOR GOING TO FPR AND OTHER THINGS IS THERE ANOTHER PLACE WHERE IT GOES...OR IS THIS THE PLACE YOU ARE TELLING ME....THERE ARE TWO (THREE HOSE CONNECTORS) ON THE INTAKE MANIFOLD...IS THIS THE RIGHT PLACE?
