I went to change plugs and wires and when i removed the first wire(the one by the oil cap) the hole was full of oil I checked the other three and the were dry. I know my old oil cap didn't fit tight and that the hose going from the valve cover to the intake is saturated in oil. Is it my valve cover gasked, blowby, or could it be from the loose cap. Some one told me i could have detenation or a hole in my piston but it runs perfectly normal(except for the clicking of a timing chain pulley/getting fixed this weekend) any idea's

Perfectly normal.
There are 4 grommets that seal the sparkplug wells. Over time they leak, causing oil to sit in the well. nothing serious, just replace your valve cover.
