Alright guys, my baby is going to get her first servicing from me. First of all, I've already got both of the accessory belts on the way (they squeak), but should I replace the timing belt? I have 82,000 miles, but I don't know if the previous owner changed it? Also, what kind of oil should I use. I live in Wyoming, so I don't think I should use synthetic..what do you guys think? Also, if there is anything else I should check while I'm under the hood, I'd appreciate the advise. Thanks!

For the timing belt try to check with a mitsu dealer if your eclipse had its timing belt changed @ 60,000 m. If maintenence wasn't
performed @ a dealership best bet is to change it anyway. It'll save ya alot of headaches. With your belts squeeking, it could just be that the alternator or powersteering belts are loose. Before you do an oil change try as hard as possible to find out if the last owner used synthetic or mineral. If you just starting using synthetic in place of mineral, your gonna have leaks like a Mo. Just go half synthetic/mineral, if the last person used mineral.
Heres a list of things you should have changed along with the T-Belt. . .

1.M04667611 TIMING BELT $85.31

2.M04777393 TENS. PULLEY $69.92

3.M04777394 IDLER PULLEY $35.29

4.04667660AB WATER PUMP $87.62

5.MB878687 A/C BELT $13.05

6.M04668240 ALT. BELT $7.39

7.M04777240 PCV $5.39

Note that the prices are not the same in all places. Hope this helps, good luck.
