Does anyone no how to stop that sweaking noise coming from the crankshaft pulley? I believe it's the bearings.I sprayed some lubrication on it and then it would stop for a while but once I take the car out for a spin it would do it again. Had the car sit for two months because of the idler pulley that went out but now that I got that solved theres this problem. Hope that I won't run into some more problems this coming weekend when I install the Clutchmasters clutch kit.

i got a lil mouse in my pulley (afx)...im not sure if you are stock, and if stock should squeek at all... i can only hear mine when im listenin for it(like in my garage) and its for "off-road-use only"...

have you checked the tension on your belts??

I do have the AFX underdrive pulley.

Like Sean said, tighten your belts. that's what fixed mine at least.

my belts are definately tight, and i still get the squeek... if u are worried about it, slap your stocker back on, hehe.. naw, dont do that...

i remember the meet at buttonwillow when my car sat next to two other 2gnts w/afx udp, and everyones engine had a lil mouse in it...


i wouldnt worry about it until it fx performance
