I have a 98 RS and with a Stage 1 HRC kit on the way in the mail I was wondering what you guys thought about my compression? I have 60k on the odometer and the car runs great. I don't have the tools to run a test so when I get my 60k tune up done by Satan I thought maybe I could ask them to test it and give me the numbers. Let me know what you guys think.

The Compression Testers can be found at almost all stores (like AutoZone). They're between $19-25. I'd suggest you do the compression before you put on the turbo, unless you're going to have the 60K service done before you put the turbo on. Then have them do it. Either way, I think of it as a must to do a compression test before slapping on a turbo.

ya definatly want to do that 60K server before ya put the turbo on.. dealer might have a fit. but i doubt it.. either way.. get that timing belt changed!
