Sorry for the bad pic. what causes this type of wear marking? any ideas?

i dunno what causes yours, but i had sum crap in my VC and i ended up w/a gouge right down the center of an intake cam lobe yours looks like 2.. i dunno what the right name for it is, but whatever gets pushed by the actual lobe is causing that.

Thats wear from the rockers. Mine look like that and I have broken 2 lifters in 6 months on the lobe that looks worse out of a few worn ones. I am getting billet cams because of this. This can be caused by improper geometry of the valvetrain. Thats why Gary Howell says regrinds suck. I am still using my regrinds with the worn lifters, I just pull my VC like once a month to check everything out for additional wear or broken lifters.

Is the only way to tell if you have broken lifters to pull the vc? I have the pt lifters and rocker arms. are these stronger than stock? Where are you getting the billet cams? I have regrinds right now
