Trying to remove the block, but leave the A/T in the car...

We can't seem to slide the block far enuf left to clear the tranny bellhousing. Do you have to unbolt the flywheel thru the starter hole? How do you get the motor out w/o removing the suspension, output shafts, and transmission? Someone said it's been done on an M/T. IT'S SO CLOSE... aaahh

Turns out you have to unbolt the flywheel from the torque convertor (4 bolts) We finally got it out now.

Yeah that was a bitch to do. good thing we got it out so that you can return the Engine hoist.

Put up the pics when you can....all of it . let me know how the search for a 2.4L turn out.
