#21445, "HELP! NEED SUGGESTIONS!"

Alright, here's the deal. I searched the forum on this already with no luck. I am having trouble with my rpms at idle. For the first minute or two when the car is cold it idles perfectly, once the car warms up it makes a "blub, blub, blub" sound. It sounds like the idle of a top fuel dragster, except annoying! Here is what I have checked or replaced so far:

New plugs
New plug wires
New Idle air control module
New Fuel Filter
checked resistance on coil
reset the ECU

I am thinking that since the car runs well when it's cold that it might have something to do with the EGR, but I don't know enough about the EGR exept that it has something to do with routing warm air to the intake on start-up. Any suggestions?????????

have ya done the key dance to see if any codes are stored?? i would do that because your problem may be w/your timing...

what are your plugs gapped at??
have u cleaned your t/b, egr, and intake mani w/cleaner?? might just be cloggd a lil where it shouldnt...

my idle is about 1k when i start, but then chills at 500rpms once warm...it drops down, and shakes like crazy sumtimes, but i just rev it back... i believe w/an safc, u can adjust your idle, so thats prolly my next goodie

good luck

Actually I haven't cleaned the intake and EGR. I should use like a carb cleaner? Is the EGR the hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake? Thanks for the info.
